आज हर इंसान सोचता है कि "क्या हम पहले की तरह अपनी लाइफ को भरपूर जी सकते हैं?" "क्या पहले की तरह जहाँ मन करे वहां जा सकते है ?" पर सच तो यह है कि लाइफ बिलकुल बदल चुकी है , अब एक इंसान को दूसरे इंसान से मिलने से डर लगता है। दुकान में जब कोई ग्राहक आता है तो दूकानदार सख्ती से सेनिटाइज़र  और सोशल डिस्टन्सिंग का पालन करने के बाद ही सामान खरीदने को कहता है। आज हम अपने बच्चो  को घर से बाहर  नहीं भेज सकते है, अपने ही रिश्तेदारों के घर जाने के लिए हमें 10 बार सोचना पड़ता है। पता नहीं सब कुछ पहले जैसा नार्मल हो जाएगा या नहीं ? 

आज का समय देखके लगता है कि हम अपने परिवार की सुरक्षा आखिर कैसे करें। आज  उन मजदूरों की दशा देखके आँखों में आंसूं आ जाते है जो बड़े शहरों में रोटी कमाने गए थे। आखिर  उन का क्या कसूर था। आज दुनिया का कोई भी इंसान अपनी सुरक्षा की गारंटी नहीं दे सकता है। लेकिन परिवार की जिम्मेदारी तो हमेशा हर इंसान के साथ है चाहे वो इस दुनिया में रहे या न रहे। 

आज हमारे देश भारत में लगभग 1  लाख  लोग संक्रमित हो चुके हैं और लगभग 3000 लोगों की मृत्यु हो गयी है। उन सब हज़ारों लोगों पर भी उनके परिवार की  जिम्मेदारी होगी। कौन उन सब हज़ारों लोगों के परिवार की आर्थिक सुरक्षा करेगा ?   मुझे लगता है कि जीवन बीमा ही एक ऐसा हथियार  है जो इस कोरोना काल में आर्थिक सुरक्षा देगा। और इसलिए आज के समय में जीवन बीमा का महत्त्व कई गुना बढ़ गया है एक अच्छी  बात ये है कि IRDA ने सभी बीमा कंपनियों को ,कोरोना से मृत्यु के सभी दावों को भुक्तान करने को कहा है , इसलिए कहीं ना कहीं हम बीमा के द्वारा अपने परिवार की सुरक्षा कर सकते हैं।
